Steve Jensen – founded HFF (now HSF) in 2004
Steve was a founding member of the Hodag Facilities Foundation, the original name of the Hodag Schools Foundation. It was an opportunity for him to help address and solve certain district needs.
Steve is a life-long Hodag and educator. He graduated from RUHS in 1962, and earned his BS & MS from UW-LaCrosse. He was the Aquatic Director at the Eau Claire YMCA before returning to Rhinelander to teach Physical Education for 33 years. During that time, he also coached swimming for 12 years, and golf for 25 years.
Not only was Steve a founding member of HFF/HSF, he was also a founding member of the Athletic Booster Club. Steve proudly heads the Hodag Walk of Honor engraved pavers project.
