Being raised by two retired teachers and understanding how the State Funding formula works, Mike saw the need for a strong foundation to support local education. He’s been instrumental in projects like the gymnasium, fitness center, stadium, track, and auditorium upgrades — and helped lead fundraising efforts for the Hodag Dome.
Mike spent 12 years with MSA Professional Services in municipal projects, 14 with Wisconsin’s Dept. of Health in hospital and long-term care facilities oversight, and now leads Engineering & Architecture on 8 campuses and 12 rehab, long term care and assisted living facilities, including the Rhinelander campus for Rennes Group.
Mike has proudly served on the School District of Rhinelander Board since 2009
